| Does anyone have any recommendations on spray fluxers? Are there major differences between the high priced ultrasonic machines to the low priced flux/air spraying machines? We are going to be spraying an OA flux with 11% solids content. Are there a

| Hi All, | I'm getting an Electrovert Wave. It's the replacement for the Econopak. I can't remember the name. Either way, the spray fluxer is made by USI. Does anyone have experience with this spray fluxer. Good or bad would be appreciated. Th

I am trying to find information for one of our engineers on spray fluxing equipment. Years ago, I investigated these somewhat and now remember two suppliers -- Sonotek and AT&T. I was able to find information on Sonotek (http://www.sono-tek.com/) b

Mike, If your wave solder machine doesn't have enough preheat capacity you can put the board in an oven and warm it part way before you put it into the wave solder machine. This works best with a spray fluxer, as a warm board will collapse the foam

In addition to Pete's fine tips, here's one we have successfully used in similar situations as long as you're using OA flux. Get some kind of pump action spray bottle (like hair spray comes in) and fill is with some of your wave flux. Use the bottl

Sup G! Normally when spray fluxers get neglected, the spray pattern is the first thing affected. To actually 'see' this, we cut out a piece of cardboard the same size and length of the board. Run it over the fluxer and then turn itover and look at

Same happenend to me with another flux some years ago, to me its a reduced viscosity of the flux, what I did was to reduce the width of the slot on top, where the flux exits, reduced the distance from stone to pcb and filled the flux reservoir to the
