Just wondering why you'd use a diamond shaped aperture? Seems like it'll just fill in the corners and be pretty much round anyway, so why not just start out that way and keep the volume you want?

So far we haven't had any problems with air in the syringe, but in the process of replacing the old syringe is were we had the problem. I'll keep your tip in mind if we ever have the need to get air out of a syringe though. Thanks for the info. JB

You could send the boards out for contract cleaning. Saponification and DI wash. I take it your rework process does not keep track of serial or ID numbers? What about tracking lot codes on the replacement part? maybe it's unique enough to isolate

I can't imagine a board to be 2" thick. Am I misunderstanding here? The thickest board I work with is 0.09" thick. That translates to 2.28mm. Did someone say that there is a standard to follow with regards to components near board edges or V-grooves?

actually, i received a shipment from supplier where the vacuum seal was puntual and the HIC is out of order, the supplier ask me to bake and keep back into the store, but i worry is there any quality impact if i do so?
