Why is the Setup menu missing in APW that is installed on a PC with a fresh DOS 6.22/Win 3.1 install? I can do nothing and most of the buttons are grayed out.

My memory is failing me Larry but i believe they stay grayed out until you create a board directory or program. Cant remember for sure and dont use it anymore so this is just an educated guess-timation.

I would yield to bob on all Quad matters, but what I see here on a fresh install (we're upgrading a PC on one machine from a *386*) is that the new board name button is grayed out. That being the case, how do you create your first board?

We'll be copying all of our board data over via floppy but I don't know how you get started with an empty database. :/

I finally got something going this morning. I can't even remember how I did it since I've been on several other projects since then, but is seems like it was one of the options on the file menu. I think I had to do a little more work on the directories. When you get it right all of the buttons will become active. There is also an export coords for auto program in central controller. I haven't quite got that going yet in APW.

Hey Steve....hahaha.....you dont have to yeild ...just merge....anyways if you create a board directory i think thats when you will be able to make a new program. Remember to put files into an actual directory and not just on c: good luck Bob
