I am looking for a good book on ESD in the electronics workplace. Has anyone used or have knowledge of the book 'ESD Program Management' by G.Theodore DAnelmayer. Does anyone have a differnt book to recommend?

Ted Dangelmayer's book [ESD Program Management: A Realistic Approach to Continuous Measurable Improvement in Static Control; Dangelmayer, T; Kluwer Academic Pub 1999 e2; 0412136716] is excellent. Often, ESD supplies sales-types use the "Chicken Little" approach that can lead to over-engineered programs that are cost ineffective. Mr Dangelmayer developed his approach at AT&T/Lucent to help the company and it's suppliers do better. It gives tools for developing of an understanding of the requirements and an approach to meeting the requirements. The approach is particularly suited to companies with limited resources. Here is the essence of the first chapter of the book: http://www.ce-mag.com/archive/02/09/dangelmayer.html

Also consider ESD TR 20.20 - ESD Handbook. It is the supporting, why's & wherefores document for ANSI/ESD S20.20 - Protection of Electrical and Electronic Parts, Assemblies and Equipment (Excluding Electrically Initiated Explosive Devices)
