fuji's cp-iv-3 component shifting | 19 December, 2006

we have fuji's cp-iv-3 machine made in 1993.we are facing problem everytime when we change the jobs(for example we change from pcbA to pcbB to pcbA)even though program is same. There are some mechanical adjustments like conveyor adjusted according to job, the movable reference pin is adjusted. Does anyone have any idea/quick solution to these type of problems.

Not quite sure what your problem is by your explanation but if you are seeing component shifting with no real trend , I would be confident that it will be down to the Clamping of the board. Make sure the adjustable rail is secure and not moving slighlty during production.

I am presuming that the program is correct.

Get it calibrated and pam run on the machine any help needed mail me
