This is a picture of hypercorroded nickel [black pad]. We posted it as an attachment to the thread. It's a new feature that the folk at SMTnet.com added for our dancing and dining pleasure. Well, maybe not that, but we'll be able to communicate better, anyhow. Coo, eh?

Thanks guys.

Very cool. Now, how big was that image? It took about 30 seconds to load.

Took about ten seconds for me, but still, 963kb's in .bmp format. Had you saved in .jpg format, it would have been 43kb.

Either way, sweet feature. Unfortunately if people upload images nearly 1mb in size, I doubt the feature will stick around long. Storage is cheap, but not that cheap.

Good suggestion. We used a program to convert our bmp to jpg. Much better.

You could always open the .bmp in Paint, and then do a "Save as..." and choose .jpg as the file type. Everyone has Paint. Unless of course you're using a Mac, but then you'd probably be a graphic designer anyways...

This is a great tool. Pictures are worth a thousand words - videos is worth a million.
