Drying SMT Stencils Post Sonic Cleaning

Drying SMT Stencils Post Sonic Cleaning | 31 August, 2009

We have tried air drying (using shop air) our SMT stencil post sonic cleaning. This technique only "pushes" the water droplet around to the other side of the stencil. Air drying causes the "Invar" stencils to rust as the water sits on the stencil surface for a while.

Does anyone have a better/good way to dry these stencils.

Regards

Hi BWET

we are using a chamber that can take 2 stencils 29 x 29 blowing hot air from one side takes ~30min @ 40 C to dry - but sometimes up to 45mins
