Last July I posted a query about reflowing leaded paste to gold plated boards, I wasn't getting a good reflow. The answer that seemed to work was dwelling the board at reflow for the maximum recommended amount of time. Would anyone have an opinion on this?

Also, I am having trouble finding this query. If I search by name, I only get results where someone used my name in their response. Then under options I clicked show threads for the last 365 days, but it only went back to January 18th. A pre-thanks for any help.

I figured out how to find my old query, click advanced search on the left. Still anyones thought on soldering to gold finish would be appreciated. Thanks.

You'd don't solder to gold finishes. The gold finish goes in solution in the solder and the solder attaches to the underlying surface, commonly nickel or copper.
