We are using a Propyl Bromide vapor degreaser solvent. Has anyone heard of this solvent when used near an oven will decompose and cause major corrosion to metals such as in a Reflow oven or a wave solder pot?

Corrosion of soldering equipment!!! That would be the least of our concerns. Propyl Bromide has a flash point of 21*C [70*F]. It's not real stable. It's flammable. It's ready to go at room temperature. Have someone else operate those machines and get yourself assigned to work in a different area of the building.
