Paragon Blower failures

We just received a Paragon 150 oven for production. We hadn't used it a week and we're getting "Top Blower Fail " alarm. I have checked all the top blower fans and they all are running. Can someone help as to why we're in alarm yet all the blowers are (or seem to be at least) working. I have read some comments on the site about paragon blower failures, yet found no descriptions of the problem. Just that paragons are notorious about blower failures.

If the blower is pulling high amps it's possible that it's still running but the oven is recognizing the high current. Check the label on the blower for the amp rating and check the current w/ an amp probe.

Thanks for the reply. I must be getting old and worn out and very forgetful. Max draw should be 1.45. I've got two drawing about 1.8! Do you know what the blower problem is with paragon ovens that I have read about on this web site? The threads were not very descriptive.

The bearings wear out on those blowers like a cheap pair of underwear. When you replace the bearings be prepared to see significant wear on the motor shaft also. We used to keep a backup ready to go.

This will cause you to amp up higher than normal.
