Mirtec MV-2HTL programming: Inspection window out of frame range | 28 January, 2011

Hi all,

I just finished programming a board in this AOI machine and I'm getting the same IC rejected in every board with this error:

Inspection window out of frame range.

I don't know how to fix this because the frames get generated automatically when I exit the auto programming (ATT). It usually asks if I want to save library info. I say ok, then it says if I want to generate all frames. I also say ok. It takes about a minute to generate the frames and then it is done. I save the model and it usually works. Is there a way to re-size the frame manually? is there another way to fix this?

Mirtec MV-2HTL programming: Inspection window out of frame range | 28 January, 2011

When reviewing the defects, I believe you can select the part, right click on it, and select "create new frame". This would create a new frame with that part alone in it, and centered. Better inspection for that part.

Possibly this won't work with the MV-2, but it works with MV-3.
