I am currently running at 2.12 minutes TAL using Indium 8.9HF. I am up to 68/cm min in a 8 zone oven. Indium recommends 30-100 sec or .30 to 1.40 minutes, I am think of increasing the conveyor speed until I fall with the 1.40 minutes, does anyone have a recommended speed using this paste with a 8 zone oven?

It's all relative to your Zone Temps and the thermal profile of your assembly. Without knowing what they are, we'd be irresponsible to offer any advice on adjusting your conveyor speed.

My oven profile is 155,160,165,180,220,245,255,227 Cooling Zone 132/92. This is a 8 zone CV820 Technical Devices oven.

My assy profile using Datapaq Q18 - Base on one probe feedback - Positive slope (7.09), Pos Slope Time (.45), Rise Time (1.17), Mean Slope to Peak (.66), TAL (2.21), Peak Temp (248.9)Neg Slope (-8.09). This is a assembly loaded with 1210 resistors, caps. And the probe was center of the board. I had 6 probes across the board, but the data was relatively the same.

Clearly you are above liquidus for too long so you can either increase conveyor speed or lower some zone settings. With your current recipe you don't mention the conveyor speed or the total profile length. Also ...are your max / min slopes really so high ? Most components don't like anything above 6 deg per second rise / fall. When I'm profiling I try to make sure no slope is bigger then 3 deg per second. I think you need to do some test runs with different speeds and measure them with your datapaq...its harder worker then someone giving you the answer but its time well spent, and watch your max / min slopes.
