Hi,

my company is looking for SMT lines. Currently our target for pick and place machine is on Yamaha YS12P/YS12F and Juki 2080L/3020L. Kindly please share your comments of pros and cons of these machines. Also please recommend other brands and models. Thanks!

We hacve Juki and I have to admit that they are very good machines. These machines are not very fast(I don't know how different is 2080. 1080 aned 2060 are almost the same and their real speed is about 6000cpm/h. Besodes that fact the machines great - very reliable and repetitve and don't break often.

Hello. We use an Assembléon MC24 (similar to the Yamaha YS24, the fast version of the YS12) and I can say it is a really good machine. Low maintenance and a good userfriendly software. We run our MC24 with 35.000 cph. And the machine is really small.

We use JUKI KE2060 now, and we consider purchase of two YS12 for our next assembly line. But I'm afraid some of the details, like lack of pick-hight measurment function in YS12, we got used to perform at the begining of new production run (by JUKI's laser HihgtMeasurmentSystem). And I wonder about reliability of vibratory stick feeders from Yamaha, the same as Assemblon's. Could you help?
