Although we do not have any soldering issues with our OSP PCB's, I am trying to establish clear rules with regards pcb storage and shelf life. Our PCB's are supplied in metalised moisture barrier bags but without desicant, our current rules as follows :- 1) Unopened PCB to be used within three months off arrival. 2) Once pack is opened, PCB has to be used within 72 hours 3) No clear rule for maximum time between B side and A side reflow. 4) No clear rule for maximum time between A side completion and solderwave (for PTH connector). 5) Partial packs at the end of a run are currently sealed in an ESD bag with desicant, no clear rule what shelf life is on a resealed pack.
Can anyone please help on these above points ? Many TIA Kevin
