ODD FUJI IP3 PROBLEM

ODD FUJI IP3 PROBLEM | 16 October, 2012

I have a very odd problem with my Fuji IP3 and was wondering if anyone can help. Any part that gets picked from the MTU will fail vision recognition. After turning on the vision trace data, I can see that the IP3 is looking for the part to be rotated at a 45 degree angle. The outline of the part that shows up on the monitor is at a 45 degree angle. This happens with all parts. If I move these parts to a feeder on head 1 or 2, then it will pass vision and inspect correctly at 0 degrees or 90 degrees. It is not a PD issue as these parts will pass vision fine when moved to a feeder. Has anyone seen this kind of an issue on a Fuji IP3? I have already flushed the proper and re sent to both the IP3 and MTU and still the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This problem is caused by poor pick-up. Check the pick-up from MTU to shuttle, then shuttle to placing head 1. If the pick-up is not centered, adjust proper data.

With that said, do you happen to have the calibration procedure for the MTU? I already have the X0 Y0 jig. Just need to know where exactly I am supposed to calibrate with regards to the actual trays.
