We have a modest operation and are seriously considering adding x-ray inspection systems. How much will it cost to setup an X-Ray Inspection Station?

What training resources are available?

What can we expect to spend to train inspectors?

Cost of X-Ray Inspection Equipment | 18 June, 2001

As you probably have discovered, the cost of x-ray inspection systems can run anywhere from $35,000 to $350,000 or more depending on if you want an In-line or off-line system. Assuming ,in your facility, you want an off line system, then the next consideration is to what degree you want to work with a magnified image. X-ray systems with magnifications 50X or less should cost under $50,000. Systems with magnifications up to 2,000X will cost in the $80,000 and greater range.
