DEAR ALL

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DIGITAL VIDEO COMPARATOR ,AN INSPECTION TOOL WHICH WILL HELP ME TO LOOK FOR ,MISSING COMPONENTS,VALUE,DIRCTION ETC, AND IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE PROGRAMMED BY PLACING A GOOD BOARD. IT SHOULD ACT MORE LIKE AN AUTOMATIC OPTICAL INSPECTION BUT SHOULD BE LESS EXPENSIVE AND IS AN OFF LINE MACHINE.

There are several low cost vision systems ( under $ 5,000) on the market: http://www.dvtsensors.com" ,Keyence, Texas Instruments, Imagenation. If they can capture the image in one shot ( comparing with one good board ) depends on the camera resolution ( # pixels ), board size and component size.

P.S. If you want to see the print on components or color rings, you will have to have a controlled X/Y table and a color camera / vision system and then you have a complete Optical Inspection Machine.
