SMT part with similar spec to TL1240Y | 3 February, 2015

We were using TL1240Y Tack switches for 2 layered PCB and posted those switches by hand. Now planning to re-spin PCA where we recommend that part to be added on SMT process. So looking for a better and opt switch with same specs. Please suggest me any.

You did check the E-switch Website ?

Looks lie an SMT replacement.

I have used the equivalent switch in SMT and TH without the LED for behind an elastometric panel. In fact in consumer electronics from Japan (think Photocopiers) an unilluminated one of these would have to be near one of the worlds highest selling switches.

I am sure if you look there will be quite few suppliers to a similar switch.

Is the yellow LED essential in your application
