Plastic fingers for wave solder machines

Plastic fingers for wave solder machines | 31 January, 2000

I've seen some plastic fingers advertised for wave solder machines. Anyone used 'em? They are 'glass-reinforeced polymer resin', they are supposed to stand the heat, can be mixed with titanium fingers on the machine, and cheaper! (near and dear to all of our hearts)

Any users? Any experiences?

Boca, We mix them with titanium fingers, been running them for 6 months with no problems with heat. They break off rather then mangle like the titaniums, which can be a good thing! Do I like them? Sure! I found they were 1/2 the price as titaniums and work just as well. If you want the name and address of whom I purchase them from, just email me! Larry
