nozzles, where to get them?

nozzles, where to get them? | 19 January, 2000

has anyone had any good experiences with purchasing replacement nozzes for pick and place, chipshooters, from a supplier other than the original manufacturer?

I know of a couple that currently sell aftermarket replacement nozzles at a very reasonable price and was wondering if they are worth it....

thank you greg

Greg: Not all nozzles are created equal, not all after market nozzle suppliers are created equal, but it's probably worth a shot.

We tried it, we didn't like it, ... but you know some nozzles are really simple things and other nozzles are really complicated things.

Good luck.

I have had good luck buying after market nozzles from SMT research.

Fuji CP3 Nozzles, I bought the Heavy-duty version and they lasted 3 times longer than OEM Nozzles.

SMT Research buy's their Panasonic nozzles from the same source as Panasonic does, but they sell them cheaper than Panasonic does.
