Hi! I recently bought 33 of the worlds crappiest Quad feeders for dirt cheap. They all had bad tape peel rollers. So I decided to try and print replacement rollers from TPU. And, it actually works! here is the link to the cad files http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2013665

AS wonderful as your experiment in 3D printing is. WOuld you have been better off taking a print feeder roller out of an inkjet , with the right diameter and cutting to size on a dropsaw!

Another approach is to find a supplier in the printing industry they can sell rubber rollers in all sorts of materials and diameters and again you cut to width.

That is literally twice the amount of work. The drawing would've taken 10 minutes tops. I would've gone to lunch and that would've been done printing.

We have a 3D printer in house as well using ESD safe filament. We've used it for tooling, prototyping, 5S, etc..

Agreed, ours took >10mins to print an 8mm wheel. Experimenting with both Ninja Flex, and Ninja Semi-Flex, I think the Flex is probably going to be the winner though. Had to upgrade our filament feeder on the printer to use either of them. Totally worth it though. Not sure if it's ESD friendly and I hadn't even considered that there would be options available that are. I will have to look into that further.

We had the same issue with the filament loader. We have a flash forge Pro; mounted the spool above the printer. Here is the filament. http://www.3dxtech.com/search.php?search_query=esd
