We want to make use of BOM Connector software from Router Solutions. Does your company work with this software? Please let me know how does this software works for your company. Is it a big time saver compared to your other system you worked with to make a quotation for a PCB assembly.

Yes we have it, and it can do a job. They are good people that want to help.

A lot depends on what ERP you have, and if they have a bridge for it. We have had to write our own brige for importing BOMs into our ERP.

It does do great things with customer part numbers and cross referring and part searching, but still does not handle multi layer BOMs.

Make sure you make your decision on what you actually see a release copy do in front of you - they have lots of great ideas but not all of them have been implemented.
