As always, our good colleague Evtimov is right about the AOI and oven. For the AOI you need to make a golden sample board(panel) and test if your machine can catch all defects that you simulated BEFORE the oven. Try to me as accurate to real defects as possible. SO you have to make a attributive MSA (with only pass and fail). As for the ovens - for me best method is to measure with thermo couples every day for a month on one product. Then if all data is relatively the same you can start measuring once per week, then once per month. In this way you can clearly prove that there is no deviation in your process. But you have to get software like KIC, datapaq etc and a measuring calibrated device of course. And of course, you have to make a very good measuring board with thermo couples attached very well, and name them, so you can always compare the right ones every time.
