Has anyone have experience with soldering component leads that the lead finish is CuPDAU? T Jon

I think of palladium coated copper with gold flash (CuPdAu) as bond wire used in chip attach. Look here: https://www.heraeus.com/media/media/het/doc_het/products_and_solutions_het_documents/bonding_wires_documents/fact_sheets/Factsheet_PdFlash.pdf

I have no connection with nor receive benefit from the company mentioned in the attached data sheet

Dave, thanks. I was going to change Cu/PD/Au to Ni/Pd/Au and then my question is: Has anyone had soldering issue with components (ICs) with the above finish during reflow and/or had to change the oven profile to improve the wetting. Sorry for confusion but appreciate the response. I do remember having issues at another company I worked for. Jon
