SOT-223 | 15 November, 1999

Hello all.... Can anyone out there tell me the correction package orientation or "industry standered" (in tape and reel) for a SOT-223. We are getting them in both directions from multiple vendors. To save confusion, do the "three little legs" point to the spocket holes in the tape, or away from the spocket holes.

Thanks in Advance... Larry J

Larry, Bubba's correct. He is probably just reading it off of a jedec spec sheet. Of course it really depends on what machine you are using when pin one is being determined. Not that it matters, it should still only come in the T/R package one direction. Just kidding Bubba, I will drop you a line when I get situated down here.
