High-Mix SMT Line (PnP/AOI Eval.)

Hello All,

I am currently conducting machine evaluations in order to choose the right machinery for a High-Mix Low-Volume SMT line.

I am looking for any kind of information/evaluation on PnP machines as well as AOIs.

In terms of high-flexibility PnP machines I am looking for machinery with an easy kitting process and high capacity. Currently kitting for up to 320 8mm slots.

The plan is also to implement AOI machinery in-line with the least amount of user interaction. Any references as to programming/tuning time of in-line AOIs as well as brand & model would be very beneficial. From your experience which brands have the least number of false calls under good programming practice?
