Hello,

I work on the replacement on our old waves. The objective is to replace 6622C waves by full tunnel N2 waves, for the benchmark, I have selected 3 manufacturers : Ersa, Seho and Electrovert.

What are your experiences with these manufacturers and with theirs waves (Powerflow N2, MWS 2340 and Electra) ?

Thanks

I have used a 2006 Electrovert Vectra ES (63/37) for last 3 years, we acquired it used. It had little or no maintenance before we got it, now after replacing a solder pump motor, preheater fans and thermocouples it is pretty reliable. The spray fluxer is well worn but still works. The support has been good.

We also have a new Juki (JT made in China) RoHS without any N2 used and are able to run IPC610 class 3 product thru with little or no problems. We bought with N2 capability (blanket over pot only) but have not needed it. It was 30K less that an equivalent Electrovert. We will se how well it lasts.

I have no connection with either manufacturer.

If Electrovert makes it, buy it. Nothing (for me anyway) works harder, and lasts longer than a good ole American made Electrovert!

We have an Ersa Powerflow N2. It's a very well built machine with excellent support. We run it (2) 10 hr shifts per day, 4 days a week. Having the full nitrogen tunnel has greatly reduced dross and improved hole fill. This replaced an Electrovert Vectra wave.
