Hi,

do you know any company who provides Design for Assmbly analysis of PCBA assembled in the housing (with other components like gears, radiators, screws etc.)? By DFA I mean analysis from the mechanical side, in range of dimensions, tolerances, mechanical moveable connections to obtain best fitting and reduce scrap level.

Could you recomend someone with experience in that kind of analysis? It does not have to be a company specialized only in EMS.

Hi Alexi,

thanks for your answer. That was the first step I took, before I have written my question here.

Despite appearances, not many companies offer DFA as a separate service.I have already found few, but still looking for other source of knowlage. Beside, like I said, I am looking for recomended servieces.

This is interesting Alexei. So Flex is able to check my complete project before I decide to start manufacturing process, and advice me what should I change to minimize quality and assembly issues? I'm really interested in finding such service. Do they use specific software to calculate all tolerances, dimensions or it is performed based on experience? I'm looking for offer in Europe, I don't know where Milena is located. Do you know whether Flex in Europe or any other company is offering this kinda of analyze, and how expenesive it is? best regards, Grimus
