Panasonic NPM-W Nozzle error | 14 November, 2018

Wondering if anyone will have an idea on what we are experiencing with our Panasonic. When the machine goes to change nozzles,it errors out saying "Nozzle exist error(Rack) occurred,(R side)" There is nothing in the nozzle bank, actually replaced bank, same result. Checked LED's on camera, checked under bank for possible debris that the camera may be seeing. If nozzles are returned to bank manually, machine will pick them up with no issues. So that tells me it is seeing the nozzle bank Fids. It occurs on every nozzle and every position in the bank. Only this machine, only this table. Ideas?

Did you reslove your problem?i didnt have this problem on my machine....but im wondering to know what is problem...mby you turn nozzle on wrong side and machine no see 2d code..

We did figure out the issue. The plastic cover inside the LED lighting unit had a slight film covering it, which made the picture slightly hazy. We had to disassemble the LED module to get at it, cleaned it and it was fine. I didn't think this would be the issue as it could locate fids fine. On a side note, I learned you could go to the calibration page and get a live picture and move the head around to see what the machine see's. This is how we discovered it, comparing two tables vision.

It's nice to see that you've solved the problem...panasonic npm w2 is very powerfull machine but asks everything to be perfect and everything is pure to work well...looking for a clean ventilated room without dust..regular maintenance daily, weekly, monthly according to the factory instructions...I also have great experience with the Panasonic machine ... ask what kind of advice or help you need..

actually not...only with NPM W2 AND TT2...and with HDP dispenser...CM602 402 is an older generation than NPM but the principle is the same..the program is slightly different...im more than 10yrs in this job..

Been working with CM's since 2006, we've had 2 lines of NPM's for the last 4 years. I like the NPM's, but the CM's have been a work horse. We have gotten our monies worth:)

Hehe it's nice to hear that you are satisfied with the machine..The only problems with the NPM that we had was filter full for now... Are you using auto changeover,automatic suportpins and material control?

We are using material control, and our auto support pins are from Quik Tool. They integrated there modules into our machines, we're happy with it. Not using auto changeover as far as I know, I stick to the maintenance side. We have a programmer that does all the mixes etc.
