Is anyone using FEEDER FINGERS for small cut tape SMT parts? | 11 June, 2019

I was looking for a solution to help use the short cut tapes we sometimes get for smaller runs. feederfingers.com has an interesting product that replaces the fingers on the feeder. It says you can string up strips as short as 3 inches.

Is anyone using them, or perhaps another method for dealing with the short cut tapes?

Very cheap option are adhesive strips. Easy to use and if operator is carefull, there are no spilled components.

I'm a Rep for Yamaha equipment. I have several customers using Feeder Finger with great success. The Yamaha feeder has a design feature that compliments the Feeder Finger.

Actually, Mydata already had that similar design over 10 years ago, it's the aglilis feeders. It's easy to set it, and almost no spill parts at all if the operator do it right.
