Organic Filled Plugs Flooding with Selective Soldering

We are having issues with solder flooding some through hole pin receptacles which have an organic fiber plug on the soldering end. Anyone else use these types of receptacles and soldering with selective solder. Appears the plugs may be not sealed which allows flux and then solder to migrate inside. Too much time accumulating in rework hours.
