Hey all. We have an assembleon Opal Xii. Does anyone have a copy of, or know where we could obtain a copy of the offline programming software? Having to do all setup on the machine is starting to become an awful and inefficient solution. I've asked around a lot with no success so far.

I have, but it's super limited in comparison to being a full offline programmer. Especially with part sizes and nozzles

First, I'm a Yamaha Rep. You can check with your local Yamaha Rep. Some of the GEM Series can use Yamaha software. The Assembleon product was a Yamaha software with an Assembleon overlay.

THe Ealead software pretty much does everything for $1000US, Its big weakness is its importing, for this you use PCBSynergy. Have you tried the Ealead demo it run's for a month.But it is limited to 10 feeders

I tried the demo, it was really hard to understand the Chinese site, and then when I downloaded it, it said it was already expired.

Yup same here. Just got a quote from the new owners of assembleon for the official offline software. It's around the same price. So definitely not buying the Chinese one.

Send them an email.

The software is really quite something for multi-machine lines, mixing highend machines from multiple manufacturers. At a very reasonable price.

Also it can import and export the SMT machine files for all of the machines it supports. So you can mix it easily with other software.
