I have a small board in a 5x5 array. Thickness is .014". The fist build, the array was all routed with mouse-bites. Customer doesn't like the edge left by the mouse-bites. Board house says they can't v-score a board that thin. I'm not sure what other options I have. Individual board is 1.5" x 0.5".

Thin FR4 can be routed with a CO2 laser with high quality results, the edge is precise and free of slag. The process is extremely low stress. If the edges are straight you can consider sawing. 0.4mm (0.016") FR4 can be laser routed and sawn at speed up to 100mm/sec.

oooff... be careful of punch dies. They leave a lot of debris and can stress components on the PCB. If you're using them, be sure to verify stress levels with a strain gauge test. Semi-fractured components can pass test, yet eventually cause latency failures in the field.

It's annoying, but, the last time I was faced with a similar issue, we ended up sanding the edge on the PCB after depanelization. I stronly recommend charging for this service.

It could be sped up by using a Dremel fixed in a vice, but, I would caution that it is really easy to over sand portions of the PCB this way leading to exposing metalization, or deforming the side of the board (experience) leading to scrap. The only thing we didn't try was rigging up a fixture with some stops to limit how much of the edge of the PCB was exposed to the Dremel.
