Hi, has any of had a problem with power grid in you factory? Do you use EMI filters, power factor regulators or similar? Is there a known type of equipment that causes voltage/current harmonics and other interferences? thank you

Hi, I have experienced the same troubleshoots for our machines and computers, accroding to the expert who did the harmonics study our problem is created by the intense use of UPS, lights yes lights. The resultant high frequency variation in sinewave amplitutude is responisible for lot of our equipment failures. We ordered a couple of active harmonics filter, I will let you know when I will install them.

thank you for information. my problems did start sometime around lighting upgrade 4 years ago. we bought some cheap led panels about 150-180 of them in total...

I suggest that you perform a electric power quality analysis with a qualified technician using this equipment https://www.fluke.com/en-us/product/electrical-testing/power-quality/1742-1746-1748

test 1 : all lights on take the measurement of your sinewaves 3 phases harmonics.

test 2: all lights off make the same measurements.

if test 2 and test1 results are different, you should make some calculations to choose the best filter. good luck.
