First off, Fuji machines aren't that simple i.e. changing the CPU could actually make matters worse. There are jumpers, DIP Switches and related data to consider before doing something like swapping cards. Swapping is a shotgun approach but sometimes there's no alternative. The starting point is to make SURE you have the machine specific "Proper Data" backed up, hard copy and soft copy before doing anything. There are settings in the machine specific Porper Data that are related to the machine functions and machine control and options. You could simply have the wrong BIt setting in a line of the Proper Data. There is also a firmware card related to this, meaning the CPU card, Porper Data, Firmware cards all need to match and get along with each other. There is probably an EPROM on the CPU card that needs to match the Memory card firmware. They also use batteries and if a battery is low the Proper Data can deteriorate or responed adversily. If you change a battery you will most likey lose data to. At this point you are probably still "safe" to recover. Your first priority is to confirm that you have the machine speccific Proper Data before making any chnages. Next if you make any changes and power the machine up always keep your hand at the E-stop during power up and zero settting anticipating an adverser response from the machine. If you have the machine specific Proper Data you can view it as a text file and I'm sure you will see line data related to Auto / Pass Mode but know you need to know what to change (i.e. 0 = on 1 = off or vice versa). Fuji did publish manuals about this. Do you have the machine manuals and schematics? It's tedious but if you only have a hard copy you can manually retype every single line and create a soft copy of the Proper Data (any small typo will create a huge problem). Did you reset the machine during the CPU swap? - I'm getting the impression that you didn't because you would have had to resend the machine spcific proper data and if you do not have that data then you better not reset the machine. Another mention - let me know if you need replacement parts - we have replacements parts available for a variety of Fuji SMT machines. ATS - Assured Technical service LLC
