I have some engine over load problems in the central reel, has it been identified that the external team misuses talcum powder for rubbers and many times we find talcum powder in the shafts, however will it be enough to cause the engine over load? Does anyone have any idea what I can see next? Thanks

It is possible. If the talcum powder mixes with the chain lubricant, it could gum everything up. Back a few years ago when I was running an SMT Quattro Peak, I was having an issue with the conveyor chain drive motor going into overload. We had to pull the drive chains, degrease and re-lube everything to fix it. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback, I've been having some problems with the motor overload in the conveyor and central reel whenever there is cleaning by the external company. After analyzing I always find talcum powder and lubricant (it looks like cement) on the axles and ball screw, after cleaning and lubrication the errors no longer appear. I'm thinking of putting some ball screw covers to see if I stop having this kind of problems.
