So, your Hydra Z message timed out...

A couple of potential causes: 1. Hydra MOT card failure 2. Hydra z-motor failure 3. Hydra z-motor encoder failure 4. Hydra z-lock failure 5. Disconnected cable 6. X-wagon cable

Start by booting into service mode, and running initialization manually. See if the failure is the same.

Check the mot-card by swapping it with a known good card, and see if the issue still exists. If it does, the problem is motor side.

Make sure that the motor is turning freely, and that all cables are connected correctly.

In service mode, rotate the motor head and make sure that the encoder counts change correctly.

Make sure nothing impedes the travel of the head.
