Teradyne Spectrum Series

We are considering the purchase of a Teradyne Spectrum 8800 series tester. We have experience primarily with Genrad 228X testers, and have been well pleased, but we are giving Teradyne the opportunity to bid. Does anyone have experience with these machines? Are you happy with them? Any recommendations?
