MPM Accuflex 'Table Failed to Initialize' Error (P5 Driver Issue) | 5 May, 2025

Hello everyone,

We're experiencing an issue with our Speedline MPM Accuflex paste applicator. During machine startup, when the system performs its initialization checks, we encounter the error: "Table failed to initialize" Additionally, we've noticed the error code "P5" on the driver responsible for lifting the table.

Temporary Workarounds: 1.Sometimes, simply restarting the software resolves the issue.

2.The most effective (but impractical) solution so far has been to hold down the "System Power" button throughout the entire boot-up process, which prevents the error from occurring.

Questions: 1.What could be the root causes of this error (e.g., driver malfunction, power supply issue, or sensor misalignment)?

2.Are there any permanent fixes to avoid manually holding the "System Power" button during startup?

We'd appreciate any insights, troubleshooting steps, or documentation references. Thanks in advance!

We used to have 3 ACCUFLEX and a AP HiE. The APHIE would often have drivers fail.

The biggest problem with ACCUFLEX was the leadscrews that control rail width would freeze up and fail initialization. If you can locate George Castanaguay, he is the absolute guru. He no longer works for PPM in New Hampshire, but he trained the guys there, so you can always call them and they can probably help.
