The folder management in the email section uses a standard set of functions created years ago by Sun and Netscape, and is supported on Netscape 2.0 and IE 3.0. Unfortunately the whole set gets loaded instead of the one small file needed for the Java tree window to work. Netscape users will have the benefit of having those already loaded.

We are currently looking at a different technology, DHTML, to perform the folder management task which would be much faster, yet requires a browser version of 4 or greater.

I know you must appeal to the masses....but this fix works fine with me; I use IE 5.X
