BP showed an innovative new in-line programming machine at Nepcon West. I believe it is their new Model 6500. It was on their stand and also running in the TAC line. It is very fast, and very flexible. I think they are running insert ads in Electronic News and other periodicals. They are worth a good look.

Thanks.. | Alex, Heres what I know from my personal experience of interfacing with BP Micro personnel and customers in support of the base robotic system for the past 5-6 years. BP Micro started approx. 12 years ago and has grown tremendously the past 4-5 years with a product line of robotic pick & place device programmers that support the programming of over 11,000 different devices including BGA's. Some models offer a laser marking system which seems to be a popular add on. Their install base is worldwide including the Asian markets and some of the top semiconductor corporations. They now have a support network of 7-8 trained field service engineers and a technical support team based at corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas. They have a proven product backed by an excellent team. Highly recommneded by myself and recommned checking with BP Micro users for additional input. Good luck in your reseach. Russell Bartley
