Registration beta is back up, and login is enabled.

We have isolated and correct the problem that forced us to shut down the beta registration, and disallow login.

Thanks for your patience.

Dave,

A few registrations were corrupted so those fewer would have to re-register. Most are fine and should be able to log in.

If you have a problem, e-mail me or cliff at webmaster@smtnet.com.

Thanks.

Cunli: So, how does one tell if they've been corrupted or not? Does not having a "head" next to your email address mean something? Re: Login is enabled | 26 February, 1999

There are only 4-5 corrupted registrations. We have notified or tried to identify and then notify them. Others can log in by typing in their username and password. Even those who did not complete their registration can log in and be prompted to complete it.

The "head" is only shown when you have completed registration and are logged in when you post the forum message. A good indication the head will show is that when posting the message, you see the option of using your real name or display name, smtnet email address or other address.

Last time I checked, your registration was not complete. So your head would not show.

Hope this helps.

Correction about the Head, the Profile Symble | 26 February, 1999

For the Head to show, you have to be a registered individual. Even if you registered your company with SMTnet and are recognized by the posting form on the Forum, you would still need to complete the individual registration process before you have a personal SMTneter Profile, thus the head.

Thanks.

Cunli: Registration keeps "booting" me back to the start of restration, because the very nice program doesn't accept any type of company. Keep it. Dave F
