Solder tip cleaner

Hi. I'm trying to looking for a manner to enlagre the solder tip life. I have heard about some chemicals substances that help both avoid or eliminate oxidation on tips. Anybody can suggest me some of those products Thanks in advance Mario Guel CMC Mexico

We use two brands of tip tinners: 1. R&R Lotion brand Ph. 602-443-9255 2. Kester Ultrapure Ph. 708-390-9338

I would also talk to your vendors to see if a process change is in order. no clean fluxes, wrong tip temperature and bad tip cleaning habits can significantly reduce tip life. Good luck!
