Can anyone help me out? I am looking for any information on In-line automatic optical inspection systems for SMT (not Bare Board). Does anyone have any thoughts which equipment is ok? I have visited MVT & cyberoptics sites but i would like more detailed info - papers, other sites any stuff would be great. Thanks :-) Paul

Is it MVP - (Machine Vision Product based on Carlsbad, CA 92009,) you are talking about? We are using quite a bunch of them on SMT lines (no bare boards) as they are reliable and inexpensive than most of the AOI systems that are out there.
