Spray Fluxer Suppliers | 16 October, 1998

I am trying to find information for one of our engineers on spray fluxing equipment. Years ago, I investigated these somewhat and now remember two suppliers -- Sonotek and AT&T.

I was able to find information on Sonotek (http://www.sono-tek.com/) but have been unable to find information on AT&T.

If you know where I can find information on AT&T and other spray fluxing equipment, I would appreciate any input.

Thanks, Mike Demos. mdemos@oconee.rms.slb.com

AT&T fluxers are no longer manufactured. The players in spray fluxing equipment now are Sonotek, USI, Nordson, and Precision Dispensing Equipment. My favorite is the Opti-Flux from USI. I put the Opti-Flux and the Jet head to head about a year or so ago, and liked the Opti much better. I now have two of them and I think they are great. Don't confuse the Opti with earlier USI models, it's come a long way in the last five years. I published a paper at the last Nepcon West comparing these two fluxers; I'll email you a copy.

From what I understand AT&T (Lucent) no longer manufacturers or supports flux spraying equipment. Suggest you contact Sono-Tek at (914) 795-2020. Sure they can assist you.
