obective comparison between siplace and fuji pick and place equipment | 10 October, 1998

we currently have a siplace line(80s/f) and are inhereting a fuji line from another site. I need an objective comparison between the two. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the fuji with regard to programming, operating and maintenance. any caveats will be appreciated.

The Fuji is easy to program but not as Siemens

Mechanically I have not ever had any big problem neither with fuji nor siemens.

good luck

Can you be more specific on the Fuji equipment? In order to answer your question it might help to know the model numbers.

I can tell you with regards to the CP4.3 series (I have 3) that maintenance and opeation is a breeze. My down time for electrical or mechanical failure is less than 1 % (over their operating life time in my factory)! The fuji software F4G is a little clutteed but it was written to encompass all types of Fuji machines. Once you get a handle of it, it too is a breeze. Overall, for a chip shooter, it's a dynamo!
