equipment to vacuum seal parts

We are trying to eliminate/minimize the baking process for high lead-count ICs. We would like to reseal packages containing these parts to minimize exposure to humidity. Anyone have or know of a way to reseal or vacuum pack parts? Any suggested equipment or processes?

Very simple, you just buy a commerical-grade vacuum sealer. It's not that expensive. A small tabletop unit cost $2000 - $4000. I don't have a number handy. These units range from $300 "Professional" units to $20k VACUUM SEALERS. And a lot of these can found on the web using a search engine. Four things: 1 If for no other place, Techni-Tool (800.832.4866) offers a moderately expensive $2k model 2 Be sure the ESD protective bags that you intend to use can be sealed with your intended purchase 3 A metal venturi is more rugged and more expensive than a plastic venturi 4 Materials of some plastic bags are better moisture barriers than others and not all ESD protective bags are good moisture barriers Some people use dessicant cabinets as an alternative to vacuum sealers.
