CCGA Column Repair

I'm looking for information from anyone who has been working with CCGA packages & has looked into the issue of repairing bent columns - the result of mishandling, rework or MPAV's dropping them and making you panic as all of the other components are scattered into the machine by the impact. I know the maximum repariable damage is 30deg. off perpendicular and the columns can be straightened a max. of 5 times, but I don't know HOW to straighten them beyond using tweezers (which squish the columns) or a thin strait-edge (which is difficult to manipulate between the columns). Is there a machine that can do this? Or a special hand tool? Also, if a column comes off, can it be replaced onsite, or is the CCGA then expensive garbage? Thanks, Kris P.S.
