Why is it not possible to include an image or link from the PCB CE Mart? I think that it would be nice if the poster of an ad for used equipment could include an image of the piece of equipment from the original manufacturers home page and also a link to the manufacturers home page so the prospective buyer could obtain additional technical information on the product they are considering. This is possible on the Forum, why not the Mart?

With any message style forum, every nifty neat feature must be programed in. This takes Time and Effort, And ultimately it's all up to the ppl who host and support a particular forum. If they feel an option to be worthwhile and beneficial...or hey, even fun. they might choose to include it when they develop the forum. If you feel that it would be beneficial to PCB CE mart, shoot the support staff an E-mail. The worst they could do is say no. -Ben

We are considering adding image, etc. | 16 July, 1998

Brian, Wayne, and All, Thank you for the suggestion. We did consider including the image but did not do so for several reasons, one of which was the time required to make it convenient and easy to use. We will definitely consider adding this when we upgrade the Mart next, hopefully within a few weeks. By the way, I do read the forum often but it is still a good idea to e-mail me directly with any feedback and suggestions. Thank you all. Cunli
