Information on 2D and 3D automated optical inspection systems | 25 March, 1998

Work as a consultant and I have a project to research the pros and cons of automated optical inspection (aoi). Would like to get names of vendors, has any one done any Beta testing of these machines. Are they reliable? Would appreciate information on both 2D and 3D AOI systems. Regards,

Paul, I work for a supplier of 2D and 3D x-ray inspection systems. If you are interested in discussing alternatives to AOI for post reflow SMT process monitoring and inspection I would be happy to discuss several strategy considerrations with you. Why AOI, Why X-Ray, etc.

we have an mvt gs-1. its horrible. gui terrible. programming is brutaly time consuming and difficult. customer service is non-existent. we'll trade it in for a near sighted monkey.
